Staff Accountant | $90K-$110K + Bonus (Up to $120K DOE)
️ Established Real Estate Firm | Covered Parking | Strong Team Tenure
I'm partnering with an established, nationally recognized real estate development firm looking to add a Staff Accountant to its team.
The firm specializes in transforming complex land projects into thriving mixed-use communities, offering exposure to multi-entity accounting, joint ventures, and real estate development.
What You'll Do
Prepare journal entries, accruals, allocations, and intercompany transactions across multiple entities
Manage general ledger reconciliations and support monthly and quarterly financial reporting
Participate in month-end close across multiple entities and development projects
Assist with quarterly reforecasts, annual budgets, and development cost tracking
Support joint venture reporting, external audits, tax preparation, and lender compliance requests
Provide backup AP support, including invoice coding, entity allocation, vendor coordination, and payment processing
Ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with internal controls
Requirements
Who They're Looking For
3-5 years of accounting experience, ideally within real estate
Strong general ledger and multi-entity accounting experience
Familiarity with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and financial analysis
Experience with Yardi, MRI, or similar real estate accounting systems is a plus
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail
Someone accountable and proactive who takes ownership and prioritizes accuracy
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
